Are you an engineer with at least a years' experience in a project based or operational role within manufacturing engineering and knowledge of lean, root cause analysis and kaizen, looking for a position within a truly fascinating and growing materials industry where you will be trained and developed into a managerial role?
This newly created role would suit an ambitious engineer who has manufacturing experience and is keen to gain valuable experience, learn by doing, and quickly develop into a management type role is with a global leader in their market and are investing heavily in both staff and equipment.

The focus and purpose of this position will be to work on a rotation within different parts of the business to learn all aspects of the site and develop into a management position.
Therefore tasks will include:
1. Co-ordinate & support continuous improvement initiatives via kaizen initiatives
2. Assist manufacturing data & root cause analysis
3. Use lean systems to improve manufacturing processes to eliminate errors.
To apply you should have:
1. Academic background in mechanical, electrical or manufacturing engineering
2. Working experience in manufacturing ideally including team leading
3. Understanding of lean, kaizen and root cause analysis
Working hours 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, Mon-Fri
