Michael Bailey Associates is currently recruiting for a Junior Trading Analyst for an Oil and Gas Organisation in London

Start: January 2019

Duration: 12 Months

PROJECT SUMMARY:

The design, creation, testing and documentation of new and amended programs from supplied specifications in accordance with agreed standards.

Responsibilities:

* Designing large programs and modifications from supplied specifications using agreed standards and tools, testing programs, conducting reviews, providing assistance to co-workers, working without close supervision.

* Support and work directly with traders and analysts to coordinate, automate, and enhance existing tools and models

* Contribute to various analytical processes and provide inputs for improvement

Must Have/Experience:

* Experience with programming, scripting strongly preferred (Python, Dash, Plotly and SQL is a plus)

* Ability to think and solve trading problems systematically through technology

* Experience related to oil trading or in a fund while not required, will be a plus
