Lead Cyber Security Consultant / Basingstoke, UK / £50,000 to £70,000

We require a Cyber Security Consultant to lead on the development and delivery of a Technical Assessment capability. The Consultant will deliver and oversee the delivery of technical assessments to a range of internal and external customers within the Defence and National Security community.

You will have a proven track record in undertaking technical assessments such as system penetration tests or vulnerability assessments, and be responsible for managing the entire assessment lifecycle process from confirming requirements during initial customer engagements to interpreting assessment outcomes into actionable priorities.

Due to the nature of this position, SC Clearance is preferred, however they will put someone through it which may delay the start date

Key Responsibilities;Act as Customer Solution Architect [CSA] for large, complex solutionsDealing with key customer decision makers such as IT Directors, Programme Managers and PartnersLeading and directing the work of others (e.g. early-career consultants)Developing capability in others, adapting approach as neededKey Skills:Proven exposure of delivering technical assessments/ penetration tests through all stages of lifecycleUnderstanding of industry recognised and relevant toolsets including their relative merits and applicationThorough knowledge of ICT infrastructure, operating systems, applications and their potential vulnerabilitiesWell-developed leadership, communication and consulting skillsProven exposure of developing capability in othersThis role is URGENT - Please apply now!
