The Sales & Business Development Director will work in conjunction with pSemi’s parent company, Murata to bring value to the Murata Company. Responsibilities include planning, directing and coordinating the Sales effort in pSemi’s EMEA markets. Developing and implementing sales strategy to meet Company goals. Introduction of products to existing and new customer base to meet business objectives in terms of volume, revenue and margins. Identifies new business opportunities by working in collaboration with other Company personnel and sales support channels.

Roles & Responsibilities

This position has responsibility for:

Managing manufacturer’s representatives, distributors and customers through effective implementation of market and account strategies

Coordinates technical resources, to support customer sales with the Company field application team

Develops creative solutions to minimize the importance of price and maximizes the importance of product performance

Updates corporate personnel of Sales forecast adjustments to balance customer satisfaction with inventory levels

Oversee the quotation and purchase order of products

Provides feedback to Marketing team for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers

Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)

10 years’ of semiconductor experience

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a sales capacity

Demonstrated ability to "close the deal" with persistence and finesse

Skilled in handling difficult and complex customer’s issues and exercise a high level of integrity, tact and diplomacy

Proficient computer skills including CRM, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

A solid level of professionalism, interpersonal skills, and excellent communication skills

A proven record of success in sales, account management, new business and negotiation

Good planning and organizational skills and ability to be a self-starter

Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers

Must possess a unique blend of business and technical awareness

Willingness to travel ~35% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

2 years of experience leading or managing individuals and/or teams

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent education
