Embedded Software Engineer, Scotland, £43/£47 per hour, C/C++ Linux

I am currently recruiting for a client of mine in Scotland, they are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to help them work on a brand new project for them kicking off in January.

The role will be heavily on Embedded C but some modules are in C++, it runs on a Linux system and a good understanding of Linux Systems is essential. Part of the role will be new development but also offering advise and technical input into the direction of the project.

The role will involve working with scientific instruments and using wireless network protocols so experience working in this environment would be nice to have.

The role is for an initial 6 months but the project is due to last at least 1 year so future extensions are highly likely. The role is based in Scotland but may require some overseas travel to the end client.

They are paying between £43/£47 per hour based on experience. They are looking at interviewing and having somebody start by the end of January.
