Job Title: Project Manager R&D - (Medical Device)

Duration: 12 months with potential for a permanent position

Main Tasks and responsibility:

* Project lead of new product developments like component and module developments as well as the integration of new developments in existing product portfolio

* Define the projects organization and deliverables

* Plan, monitor and control timeline, budget and progress from an Earned-Value perspective.

* Enable the team being effective and efficient and even-out "hick-ups"

Additional Tasks:

* Follow internal Dev. Flow, i.e. Stage-Gate and call for necessary design reviews

* Work closely with PM to ensure that User Requirements are met and convert customer needs into cost effective and profitable solutions

* Support PMO strategically the priorization process of projects/programs by providing project assessment of any kind (cost, schedule, resources, technical feasibility, etc.)

* Manage bottlenecks and disturbances by making them transparent early and providing solutions to decision-makers

* Support sustaining while and after handover

* Plan projects according project assignment and requirements including the needs of resources, skills and infrastructure with the resource owners

* Provide monthly reports on all projects and maintain a regular communication to the stakeholders

* Support Production, Field Service, Installation Team and Sales Team, by providing the necessary technical documentation and input

* Actively conduct project risk analysis and define measures

* Organize and support all product certifications and registrations inclusive the required testing and documentation

* Support head of Project Management during budget and forecast activities

Skills required:

* Electrical/Electronic/Mechanic/Software/Quality/Applied Physics, Bachelor or MSc with at least 3 years' experience in Product development

* Experience in the field of Project Management, PMI Certification as plus

* Funded experience in Operation especially at design transfer phase

* Experience with Critical-Path Analysis, MTA, Project-Crashing and adequate methodologies for getting projects back on-track

* Project Management with MS-Project or equivalent

* Experience in one of the following fields: Mechanics, Electrical, Electronic, Automation technologies, Software, Process Engineering

* Advantage: experience in Agile and Lean Development Methodologies

* Experience in Medical Device Regulation 93/42/EG, ISO13485, ISO14971, EN61010 (or other high-regulated industries)

* Knowledge of industrial ERP systems (preferred SAP)

* German and English: business fluent
