Cloud Solution Architect- Oracle, Azure
Telford/ Southend (contractor can be based at either, there will be some travel to the other site when required)
6 months
Candidates must be SC Cleared or eligible and willing to undergo SC Clearance

Skills
* Experience of transforming traditional IT to a hybrid cloud model, preferably based on AWS, Microsoft Azure and VMWare technologies
* Successfully performed role of solution architect and experience of delivering large scale change and complex solutions, ideally in central government.
* Ability to map technology transformation to business change outcomes.
* Wide solution architecture knowledge
* Proven track record of building successful customer relationships and winning new business.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deal with complex and thought provoking conversations.
* Excellent technical and consultancy skills both in a pre-sales and delivery environment.
* Sustains effective internal networks.
* Security Clearable (SC).
Advantages
* Excellent understanding of existing infrastructure technologies (including Oracle Solaris, IBM AIX, Wintel) and middleware (including Oracle RDBMS, Oracle WebLogic)
* Knowledge and experience of Enterprise Management technologies would be an advantage
* Knowledge and experience of enterprise level backup solutions would be an advantage
* Knowledge and experience of Cloud platforms and technologies, including AWS and Microsoft Azure
* Knowledge and experience of Agile deployment methodologies.
