A Senior Optical Engineer is required for a multinational company based in Edinburgh to working on laser products and optoelectronics.

The Senior Optical Engineer will use simulation tools to design Optoelectronic devices used in laser technologies.

As a Senior Optical Engineer you will hold a degree and on a day to day basis contribute to:

* Optical Design

* Photonics Design

* Numerical Simulation

Desirable:

* Optical modelling tools (Zeemax etc)

* Industrial experience in compound semiconductor lasers/ optical instrumentation/ fibre communications.
