HP-UX SME to be based in Watford on an initial 3 Month contract. Experienced HP UX SME needed to design layout and new product deployment using legacy HP Superdome technologies.

Job Title - HP-UX SME

Location - Watford

Duration - 3 Months initial

The HP UX SME role sits within the our clients practise specialising in transformation services in all aspects related to Storage configuration, virtualisation, migrations and upgrades. The role involves working on large and complex transformation programmes throughout the lifecycle of a project. At the outset this may involve pre-sales and costing for new projects, followed by design and implementation of new network infrastructure and finally overseeing the transition of the service into BAU support.

Key responsibilities :

* HP UX design layout and new product deployment using legacy HP Superdome technologies

* Troubleshoot complex design problems and propose recommend design modifications

* Design, plan and implementation for large scale IT divestment and upgrade projects

* Integration into legacy infrastructure

* Infrastructure testing and acceptance

Key Skills and Experience :

* HP UX Design layout understanding and suggest new product deployment using legacy HP Superdome technologies

* Strong knowledge of Unix systems in general

* Experience with IT separations and divestment projects involving HP UX

* Troubleshoot complex design problems and propose recommend design modifications

* Exposure to perform RCA on Major issues and minimize Project impacts due to design

* Excellent verbal and written skills

* Documentation and knowledge transfer skills
