Our client a major high street banking group requires a training designer that to design content for a project that covers topics around a project called CLD 2019.  

Overview:
Build and manage the design, development and maintenance of learning solutions (including a variety of multi-media channels), working with a broad team of designers to meet business change training needs.
 
Skills Required:
      •     Facilitate the build of new learning solutions ensuring that the quality of virtual learning content making recommendations for the enhancement of existing products as appropriate
      •     Ability to consult and design/ develop using a range of multimedia design methodologies, applications and tools. Examples may include: e-learning authoring tools/ systems training/ video production and editing
 
Designer
 
To optimise the user learning exp through the design of impactful and effective learning solutions. Working collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure solutions meet the needs of the business
 
Core Responsibilities
 
In order to carry out this role, each candidate must be able to provide evidence of skills in the following areas:
 Conducting Training Needs Analysis through collaboration with senior stakeholders and making recommendations for the most appropriate solutionsDesign of learning solutions incorporating a multitude of learning theories and a strong blend of delivery mechanismsManaging and monitoring an end to end design process in conjunction with other learning professionals and other subject matter expertsManaging multiple stakeholders to understand all technical and operational considerations and challenges, ensuring adherence to policies and mitigation of riskWorking within a large, corporate environment on projects that span different work streams and multiple business areas Key skills
 Organisational Skills - The ability to multi task, be proactive and ability to work on own with minimal guidanceStakeholder Management / Managing Relationships - ability to work at all level including senior stakeholdersInfluencing skillsExcellent design skills with knowledge of different learning theories and stylesAbility to produce material adopting a blended approach; including face to face, virtual learning, distance learning and other supporting solutionsExcellent attention to detail to ensure all material is accurate both in terms of both content and grammarAbility to write material in the first personAbility to write objectives to the industry standard (Mager) and the knowledge of the nine steps to instructional design (Gagne)
