.NET Developer
Home Based / Remote Worker
Who Are We?
Webrecruit is a recruitment technology, advertising and solutions specialist company and are one of the pioneers of online recruitment services. We've grown, evolved and advanced our offering to the point we are at today where we provide one of the most comprehensive, easily accessible and advanced software solutions in the recruitment market.
Whether it's taken straight off the shelf or delivered as a fully customised piece of tech, our solution is unique in its scalability, its flexibility and its functionality. And you know what? we're just getting started.
For 2019, we are looking to add an additional .NET Developer to our team in a home-based capacity. We’ll ask you to come down to our offices in Exeter every once in a while, but this will be on an occasional basis.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a .NET Developer, you're going to be in the thick of our development process, creating advances, enhancements and new features that are rolled out on a monthly basis.
We work with some big-name clients and more are coming on board all the time and so, on occasion, you'll spend some of your time developing items specifically for them.
We also have an existing client base who expect their system to continue to evolve and advance, you'll be spending some of your time making sure their applications are working properly and developed according to specifications.
About You
To be considered as our next .NET Developer, you’ll need:
- Primary skills and experience in C#, ASP and/or MVC
- HTML, CSS, JS and SQL skills
- Commercial full-stack experience
- Experience with a popular front-end framework, ideally Bootstrap or jQuery
- Familiarity with source-control systems, ideally Git or SVN but others will be considered
- Experience with Agile methodologies
Ideally, we’re looking for around five years’ experience, but we won’t kick you out if you’ve got the right attitude and core skill-set and you’re looking for your next step up. Experience with WebAPI and IIS/SQL Server administration would also be great but not 100% necessary, and it would put you ahead of the crowd if you’ve got experience with other web languages/frameworks, such as Java, PHP, Node or Angular.
Job titles you might have held include .NET Software Developer, .NET Developer, Software Programmer, Web Application Developer or Software Application Developer.
Rewards & Benefits
- We pay competitive market rates to all our staff and are happy to discuss your needs at interview
- You’ll discover a great range of benefits including pension and cycle scheme
- We’ll help you get set-up, sort the kit you need and make you feel right at home…in your own home
