A very unique and exciting opportunity has been created for an experienced and client facing Senior Developer to join one of Bristol's leading start-up businesses who deliver bespoke and highly innovative technical solutions into the healthcare industry with the aim of improving the overall effectiveness and accuracy of our health service, including mental health services. The Senior Developer role will be based at a state of the art innovation space in Bristol where you be working alongside leading companies in fields such as Robotics, IOT, Life Sciences and Health Technology. There is also the opportunity for flexibility around hours and home working.

I am working exclusively with the CEO who has identified a number of very exciting long-term projects with their portfolio of clients (including start-ups and SMEs) that will require the positive input from a confident and technical astute Senior Developer. The role will be varied and there will be a genuine scope to influence the business' offering and therefore their continued success in their defined market space. Daily duties will include;

* Design, architect, specify and implement a solution involving devices, communications, web and cloud services

* Interact with clients to help give them confidence in our ability to deliver amazing solutions

* Lead by example and demonstrate how you want things done so that we deliver great solutions for our clients

* Champion best practice in our team of developers, contributing to a culture of developing high-quality software which embodies our values

Technical skills and experience required;

* Programming skills in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, SQL, HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, SQL Server

* Experience of agile delivery and Test Driven Development, CI/CD

* A systematic approach to problem-solving

* Ability to be flexible, working with local and remote teams on a variety of projects

* Some experience in the Azure cloud platform and PAS architecture would be beneficial

* A willingness to learn new skills, bring new ideas to the team and grow into the role

* Experience in working with healthcare related projects would be a bonus
