Our client is the leading provider of drug knowledge that helps healthcare professionals make precise decisions. The company is now looking for a Database Developer to take on a brand new role and work on their key software product. This is our client’s core data product and is used as the base for two other major solutions as well as their latest offering.

As a Database Developer, you will:

- Develop and maintain the key software product

- Ensure suitability for both internal and external deployment

- Design, develop and test database applications

- Support internal and external customers, understanding their needs and creating user stories and analysis

- Join a team of developers and testers

- Liaise with multi-disciplined project teams to discuss technical issues

- Participate in testing, design reviews, code walkthroughs and inspections

- Take part in agile development and continuous improvement

To be considered as a Database Developer, you will need:

- Relational database analysis and design experience

- Performance tuning experience

- Proficiency in T-SQL development in Microsoft SQL Server from versions 2008R2+

- Proficiency in SSIS development

Experience in the healthcare industry would be beneficial to your application. Principles of Data Warehouse design and execution experience would also be advantageous.

Experience with any of the following would be equally favourable: SQL Test (tSQLt), PowerShell, Azure and/or AWS, SSRS Development, C++ and/or C#, or Agile & Scrum methodologies.
