Senior Network Engineer

*Role is home based with travel to customer locations in the North of the UK

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with Cisco ACI deployment experience to join one of the UK's leading technology partners.

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will provide design and deployment expertise to a range of customers, your skills must be centred on Cisco’s core network infrastructure (Nexus 9/7/5/k, 6800, 6500, ASR 9k).

Working with presales and project management teams, the Senior Network Engineer takes ownership of the LLD and delivery of projects, acting as a technical lead across multiple engagements.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a good technical understanding of all aspects of Technology. They must be able to demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellent customer service with a willingness to take ownership.

Duties and Key Tasks:

Leading client facing projects in the design, configuration and installation of core network infrastructure based on Cisco technology, Nexus 9/7/5/k, 6800, 6500, ASR 9k.

Working with technical pre-sales team and project management team to agree design and deployment strategies

Essential

Technical knowledge and skills to include:

                     Minimum CCNP certified

                     Experience of designing and implementing projects based of Cisco Networking & Datacentre technologies (Nexus, ACI, SDN)

                     Proficient in complex design, installation and configuration activities

                     Solid all-round understanding of Cisco architecture platforms and technologies

                     Experience working in an IT reseller or Managed Service Provider
