The company

A well known high end construction and design company based in the Midlands is looking for a seasoned Consultant to assist in end to end changes, upgrades and integrations of their ERP systems.

* £30m T/O business generating profits of £5m EBITDA. A rapidly growing private company and have grown from £15m T/O in 2012 to £30m now

* The third largest concrete manufacturer of our specialism by volume in the UK

* Sister operations in TX, FL and Mexico

The role

* Manage day to day IT in the UK (ERP system is Syteline and is hosted by Infor)

* Small server on site at Burton and a micro server on site at Lockerbie.

* Currently outsource our IT support, so will need to work with them on the Syteline upgrade v 8.2.11 to v9.01.02

* Manage active directory and Microsoft 365 account for circa 60 users.

* PRTG software to monitor the network.

* Helping users set up PowerBI spreadsheets and BI Widgets within Infor OS (InforOS is common to both M3 and Syteline)

* Help design Customer Portals using Syteline add on

* Assist users with set up of Infor Document Management

* Introduce PACs into the factory environment in order to link into the service module of Syteline in order to upload monitoring data direct from the Plcs on the factory machines into the PAC then via ADI link into Syteline

* Roll out of ePOD system for 40 external hauliers

* Set up of iPads / Truck devices for 10 FLTs for picking & packing

* Roll out of bar code scanning project

* Roll out Syteline maintenance module

The role would be based out of their Burton on Trent office but would require regular trips to Lockerbie

(about 3 - 3.5hr drive)

The prospects

The interesting work is all around driving productivity gains from introducing more automation into the business from using more of the add on modules that come with CSI v9.01.02 once they go live with it in Jan 19. The individual would be working with our external IT consultants who are technically brilliant & very engaging aswell as good mentors but due to workloads, it would be beneficial to have an inhouse employee who can assist with achieving delivery.

Depending on how involved with Syteline the individual became, the company are looking to upgrade our Florida business from Quickbooks to Syteline in H2 2019, so there would be opportunity to lead this project and spend 2 - 8 weeks in Florida depending on family commitments.

The package

* 23 days annual leave rising to 25 days starting the year commencing 1 Jan after 2 years full service

* 4% - 6% matched pension contributions

* Bonus of 5% (discretionary)

* Standard hours 8am to 5pm with a 1hr lunch Mon to Thurs and 8am to 4pm on Fridays with a 1/2hr lunch
