Infrastructure Engineer

Infrastructure Engineer / 3rd Lined Support / Windows Server / Wintel / VMware / Nottingham

My growing client is looking to recruit a passionate and experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their IT team in Nottingham.

My client is currently undergoing a lot of change currently, having just introduced a dynamic new IT Director, and are looking to add an Infrastructure Engineer to the team to provide expert knowledge in the Wintel area.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a great team in a business undergoing a number of key projects, along with BAU work. They are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic Infrastructure Engineer, to provide support and project based consultancy within the infrastructure changes needed for their project portfolio. This will be diverse, hands-on role, where you will work across teams to provide support and advice within the IT infrastructure. Our client has a diverse infrastructure mostly based on Windows (Wintel) servers, along with a range of VMware products, SCCM, Exchange and Active Directory.

Essential Skills:

*Excellent history in infrastructure engineering, particularly on server side roles

*Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016 set up and administration

*VMware ESXi, vSphere and VMware 5 & 6

*Exchange 2010 and Active Directory

*SCCM

For the right candidate my client is looking to pay a salary of up to £33,000 plus a good company benefits package so please apply ASAP to be considered!

Interviews will take place over the next 2 weeks and the Infrastructure Engineer will ideally start in the new year.
