SC Cleared Infrastructure Architect - Bracknell - 4 months

SC Cleared Infrastructure Architect required to join a multinational information technology client based in Bracknell on a 4-month contract.

As part of your role, you will carry out low level designs, proof of concept work and DC build implementation.

Key Skills:

* Architecture and design knowledge of the IaaS Management Stack.

* You will design for the following components and have extensive experience of:

* VMware & Storage, NTP, Server 2012 R2, Active Directory (incl. DNS & DHCP, Remote Desktop Services, SCOM, SQL, SolarWinds, Windows certificate authority, Secure admin workstation Design incl. remote management, NetBackup, Endpoint Protect, Application Control, Device Control, HP Protect Tools and SCCM

* Hands-on experience of producing high and low level design documentation

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

* Technical input, qualification and business approval meetings, designing larger and more complex solutions.

* Shaping technical proposals to meet a customer's requirements and make solution/service trade-offs.

* Defining the approach to larger/more complex solution development and acceptance testing, controlling technical scope within budget.

* Representing the organisation at customer forums, conferences, and professional bodies to make a positive impact.

* Establishes customer requirements for a solution building strong relationships and acting as a major influencer

* Defining customers' overall IT architecture, designing complex new solutions

* Managing the work of specialists contributing to the design and implementation.

* Making useful additions to the client's knowledge base.
