C++ Developer / C++ Software Engineer (UNIX Linux Agile TDD). World renowned financial organisation is seeking a skilled C++ Developer for a 12 month contract. You will join a Greenfield project to port UNIX based distributed, real-time market data systems to Linux OS, the work is highly complex with C++ parsers processing around 60 billion business messages daily.

Your role will involve creating test suites, analysing source code for potential migration problem areas, performing the required code changes, as well as deploying the new code and communicating with affected stakeholders.

Based in amazing City offices with open plan desk space, breakout areas, quiet spaces and a range of onsite facilities such as a free fully stocked food hall area.

Requirements:

*Strong C++ skills including STL

*Good understanding of UNIX (Solaris) and Linux

*Understanding of Big Endian V's Little Endian

*Experience with large, real-time distributed systems

*Nice to have: experience with financial / market data feeds, TDD
