Are you a Buyer/Purchaser who has worked within a manufacturing or production environment? Do you have strong negotiation skills?

This market leading company specialise in bespoke vehicle solutions for a range of clients across the UK and overseas. Established over 100 years they have spent millions of pounds in recent years on their state-of-the-art site in Dorking, they currently require a Buyer as part of their future plans.

You will be responsible for supplier agreements for all maintenance parts, services and consumable items across the company. This will involve strong negotiation skills to consolidate and reduce the supply base whilst maintaining the best possible service for the business.

The ideal person will be a Buyer or Purchaser from an engineering/manufacturing or production environment. You'll be familiar with modern planning and purchasing techniques and will have strong IT skills including SAP/MRP and other packages.

The Role:

*Establish, develop and negotiating supplier agreements

*Sourcing maintenance parts/services and consumables

*Cost reduction activities

*Using SAP and MRP systems to maintain a high level of service

The Person:

*Buyer/Purchaser

*Strong commercial and negotiation skills

*Full UK driving licence

*Ideally will be from a manufacturing/engineering environment
