Due to expansion, my client is an industry leading embedded systems company who are currently seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to work on upcoming projects within an award-winning team.
The right person will join a very strong technical team and will get the opportunity to work with amazing companies on exciting projects and products.
We are looking for someone who is persistent, has an eye for detail and a 'get things right first time' attitude.
You will be highly rewarded for your hard work and efforts.
The company boasts fantastic office space, with a relaxed atmosphere, based in an area which has been completely regenerated and offers local amenities within 400m of the building and has excellent transport links across the City.
Key Skills
You must have skills in several of the following areas:
-Embedded Software programming expertise in C
-ARM development on Microchip (PIC), STM32 and other microcontroller designs
-IDEs such as MPLAB / IAR / Keil / Ride / CodeWarrior / Eclipse
-New boards (bring up) and low level fault finding.
Desirable skills:
-Low power design
-Wireless designs GSM/433/868/BT/WiFi/Zigbee/etc
-Strong understanding of hardware principles
-Customer facing and team leading
-The right person will be an embedded systems enthusiast and tinkerer
-You will ideally be from a small to medium company background having exposure to all areas of the lifecycle
Salary/Benefits
£30,000-£40,000
26 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
