I'm currently looking for an ambitious and talented Embedded Software Test Engineer to join a global innovative automotive business within their high-flying research and development team to work on safety-critical products that completely blow any competition out of the water.
With projects beginning to ramp up, you will be given the chance to learn new skills and stuck in to cutting-edge technologies, working on market-leading products and exciting projects and future opportunities for personal career development.
Your immediate role will be to support the team and play an integral role in system level and unit testing of embedded systems for automotive brake systems with the chance to learn and use VectorCAST tools.
Your role will be to take full ownership of the testing process and work collaboratively within the RnD team to ensure a high standard of testing is carried out.
Ideally you will have good knowledge in the skills below and also an interest in Automotive:
-Testing automotive embedded systems
-System Level Testing
-Unit Testing
-Software/Hardware troubleshooting
-University Degree in Electronics, Software or System Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
Additional skills that would be highly advantageous to have:
-VectorCAST knowledge (Training will be provided)
-Use of Oscilloscope and MultiMeter
-Embedded C/C++ software development (MISRA)
-Problem Solving
-Safety-Critical Software
-CAN bus knowledge
