Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

* Strong experience writing production Java code for server applications

* Experience developing and deploying cloud-based server applications

* System development and support on the Linux operating system

* Design and development of relational database schema

* Experience writing efficient SQL for querying and storing large datasets

* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another numerate subject

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

* System development in a financial or data processing environment

* Use of a wide range of AWS technologies

* Linux and Python scripting, development of small Python applications

* Groovy/Spock for automated testing
