Business Analyst (Customer Facing)

We are actively looking to secure a Business Analyst to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

Role Purpose/ Summary:

To provide business analysis, including process mapping for the Legal Professionals segment's transformational changes and product development projects. This role will work across all areas of the business such as business systems, order management, finance, legal, sales, marketing, customer service and support, commercial policy and product and is expected to understand the differing needs of each area.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

* Work with internal stakeholders to elicit, understand document and prioritise business requirements across affected business areas.

* Communicate with all levels of the organisation to ensure that the business requirements are valid.

* Develop business relationships with teams to ensure successful implementation.

* Run workshops to capture business requirements, problem solve and develop solutions.

* Support stakeholders, particularly subject matter experts (SMEs) with the business changes required to support the project objectives.

* Work with business owners and SMEs to develop optimal solutions.

* Develop and complete accurate business models including process, data and detailed work-instructions.

* Work with project manager(s) to plan work and highlight risks and issues.

* Work with the business owners to define acceptance criteria.

* Assist in developing best practice in the execution of requirements, design and usability.

* Contribute to project documentation such as defining high-level scope.

* Work with PM to plan and run end-to-end and user acceptance testing (UAT) and document outcomes.

Technical Skills and Requirements:

* Demonstrable experience of being a Business Analyst.

* Process modelling and mapping.

* Experience of Agile and waterfall project frameworks.

* Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Interpersonal Skills:

* Able to build effective and positive working relationships with key stakeholders up to senior management level.

* Good written and oral communications skills.

* Able to converse with all levels of the organisation.

* Able to work with project management team to achieve positive results.

* Good presentation skills and ability to lead and control meetings and/or workshops.

* Understand the need to be flexible and adapt communication style to different areas of the business.

Personal skills:

* Able to work with little direct supervision.

* Able to work effectively in a team environment where team members may not be co-located.

* Self-motivated and proactive.

* Good analytical and process improvement business transformation skills.

* Able to identify and manage business risks and issues.

* Understands the need to set expectations and recognise when issues/events may affect delivery.

* Understands the need to prepare for workshops and run in a timely manner.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

* Knowledge of online services and content centres.

* Knowledge of business systems and IT architecture with data flows.
