Role: Platform Security Engineer

Location: Nottingham

Contract: 6 Months +

Day Rate: £480

Our leading client requires a Platform Security Engineer to be based in Nottingham

The successful applicant will work as part of an enterprise scale software development function overseeing a variety of on-premise and cloud infrastructure, you will be involved with security reviews, remediation and preventative mechanism to manage a large global estate of assets.

*Proactive engineer, Actively involved in the software development life-cycle.

*DevOps maturity

*Experience with configuration and use of online collaboration & issue tracking tools (ideally Atlassian based).

*Experience with version control tools and best practice (Git / Subversion).

*Security, Cost & Policy Management for AWS EC2 & Virtualisation Software (ideally VMWare).

*OS and Application administration & maintenance automation for Windows and Linux (ideally Chef)

Desirable :

*Knowledge around the application of cryptography.
