Technical Lead (C# / VB.Net/ SQL Server)Manchester City Centre£425-£450 per day - 6 Month ContractThe RoleMy client, a global market leading e-commerce organisation are looking to engage a Technical Lead on a contract basis in their Manchester Office.The Technical Lead will be assisting and supporting the Development Manager alongside the team in the successful delivery of a business critical project, leading technical solutions and supporting the development team. You will need to demonstrate a background in leading a team, with up to date experience in core C#, .NET and SQL principles in order to provide technical mentoring to developers under your supervision. You will be hands-on technically, as you will be responsible for conducting code reviews, mentoring and technical decision making.You will be leading a team to complete a business critical legacy tooling system rewrite. This opportunity will offer unparalleled commercial exposure in these skills, as my Client is quoted to have "one of the biggest SQL server estates in the World" by Microsoft. As a technical lead, you will be passionate about technology, delivering quality and mentoring/coaching software engineers to further develop their skill set. If you are a leader who wants to stay quite close to technology and influence solutions whilst guiding developers, then this role is for you.The ideal candidate will have strong C#, .NET, VB.NET, WPF or WinForms and SQL Server experience, and an exposure to working on Multi-tiered applications.
