This Head of Data Science vacancy is based in Cambridge with my client who develops energy management displays for the smart metering industry. This Head of Data Science position would see you joining an existing team of 3 data scientists with the opportunity to further grow the team which in turn provides you with the opportunity to grow massively within the company. As a Head of Data Science you will have an influence over the tech stack of the company, have hands-on experience but also people management skills.

What can you expect? Primary responsibilities will be in building predictive modules with the huge datasets that my client possesses to allow the end user to take insights from it.

Eligible Head of Data Science will have a relevant PhD such as Computer Science, Machine Learning or related discipline, and experience in most of the following;

1. Excellent programming knowledge in Python and good Knowledge in TensorFlow

2. The ability to develop and implement a number of machine learning algorithms

3. Good people skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team

4. Ability to apply Machine Learning and AI to dynamic datasets.
