DevOps Engineer - Azure - Manchester City Centre - 6 Month Contract - up to £550 - January Start

My client a leading software consultancy based in Manchester City Centre are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who has extensive experience around designing and delivering physical, virtualized and containerised infrastr4ucture.

As a seasoned DevOps Engineer, you will have experience of Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS.

Essential skills

* Experience in both designing and delivering the infrastructure architecture

* Infrastructure - Physical, Virtualized, Containerised

* Cloud Providers - Azure

* Configuration management - Azure Resource Manager, Jenkins and Azure DevOps

* Container Tech - Docker, Kubernetes, ECS

* Building deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools - Jenkins Git and Azure DevOps

* Networking principles and practices, e.g. Security Groups, VLANS, Firewalls, TCP/IP

* Monitoring, metrics, and logging - Logstash, Azure Application Insights

* OS Tuning and Management - Linux and Windows

* Web Technologies - Azure App Service, Azure Function Apps, Node

* Vulnerability/threat assessment and management.

* Databases - Azure SQL

* Scripting skills - Bash, Python, Node, PoweShell, Azure CLI

* Hardware and Data Centres - On premise VPN connectivity
