A successful and rapidly expanding Cloud solution services company specialising in the implementation of Cloud based infrastructure environments for the Fund Management and Hedge fund sector, is looking for an experienced Cloud solutions Architect. The firm is looking to double in size to meet demand for their services, providing the opportunity to drive the design of cloud and infrastructure solutions working with C-level client stake holders down to internal and external technical teams implementing the solution, through to support and BAU hand-over so you will be one of a number of people joining and bringing new ideas to this vibrant, global team.

You will be the Client and Partner facing Architect responsible for understanding the specific needs, technical and business objectives and thus demonstrating the capabilities of the proposed future state platform. You will work alongside Sales, Relationship Managers and Business Analysts in Presentations, (Face to Face, On-line and through written/graphical materials), you will subsequently Own the successful design and delivery of technical solutions.

This role will be pivotal in the successful delivery of advanced cloud based environments in both greenfield and brownfield environments requiring a strong background in the architecting, delivery and integration of Cloud based solutions and supporting hardware and software, including much of the following:

Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Pre-Sales, Infrastructure Design, MS Office 365, SAN Storage (NetApp,EMC etc.) Agile, Jira, Scripting (python, Perl, Powershell), Networking, Exchange Server, GPO, Active Directory

Other responsibilities include:

Providing technical architecture consultancy and solution advice to new and existing clients.

Maintaining architecture roadmaps and strategies for clients and partners

Writing Technical documentation and Pre-Sales material ie proposals

Communicating solutions to technical delivery teams and key business stakeholders ie being able to describe concepts at both techie and functional levels

Constantly keeping abreast of new technologies and how they could enhance the platform and thus the solution proposal.

Being commercial! Understanding the cost of the solution to both your group and to the client you are working with or on-boarding.

Some pertinent qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience.

Industry recognised IT Architecture qualification preferable eg TOGAF etc as well as PoC

Extensive experience in architecting, designing and developing distributed/SOA/Cloud based solutions/systems based on industry best practice.

Experience of Solution Architecture in a consultancy/new business/customer environment.

Ability to clearly articulate Products and solutions to Clients and Carriers.

Confident in presentation techniques - F2F, Powerpoint, WebEx etc to both C level and Technical Managers/Architects.
