Software Development Team Lead
We are actively seeking a Software Development Team Lead to join a leading blue-chip at their office in Hatfield, offering the chance to join the organisation at a very exciting time in its growth. The successful Software Development Team Lead will lead the team responsible for the development and migration of the business' Android application and ensure it continues to deliver value for its users, as well as the wider business.
Working as the Software Development Team Lead, your role will include:
* Leading the team to produce well engineered and tested software solutions.
* Taking an active role in championing positive development practices, such as continuous delivery.
* Taking line management responsibility by mentoring/coaching team members, running regular 1:1s and assisting with recruitment.
* Ensuring that common development standards and policies are followed.
To be considered for the Software Development Team Lead position, you will need to demonstrate:
* Experience leading a team of Software Engineers.
* Have a strong Software Engineering background using an object-orientated language.
* Previous experience delivering Android applications or applications deployed to end-user devices. (desirable)
* Experience of working with a geographically distributed team. (desirable)
