Java Support Engineer required to join a multinational software company providing products and solutions to global clients. For this Java Support Engineer role you will be working on a cloud based service which allows enterprises to gain customer insights from a range of sources on a live dashboard. The product is based on a public cloud (AWS), the back end in Java running under Tomcat, the front end is built in JavaScript and HTML, with MySQL and Elastic Search.

This Java Support Engineer role will provide technical assistance to customers, identify and resolve software bugs and issues as well as analysis log files and implement fixes prior to service pack releases.

Excellent communication skills are required and a strong background in Java development and application support.

For this role candidates should have as many of the following as possible -

      •     Over 5 years experience in JAVA Enterprise and frameworks (Hibernate, Spring) in addition to app servers like Tomcat, Jboss etc

      •     Over 3 years experience in handling customer situations

      •     Over 2 years of experience working with SQL database, writing queries, identifying issues

      •     Strong understanding of Object-Oriented programming concepts.

      •     Advanced web application support: Apache, HTTP, SSL

      •     Knowledge in cloud technologies like AWS

This Java Support Engineer role is based in Central London and offers a competitive salary and generous benefits package. You should have experience of working with complex Java products, supporting clients and troubleshooting and fixing issues in a Java development environment.
