Are you an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer, experienced in use ProEngineer looking to work for a global company within a niche sector?

The role offers excellent job satisfaction as you will lead the design through the entire project lifecycle and help develop junior designers.

The position is permanent, full time position to design new products, lead design projects and mentor junior colleagues.

Tasks will include the following:

1. Component and assembly design from concept to production, delivering technical design/development projects within required deadlines and cost targets

2. Mentor a small team of Design Engineers

3. Management of prototype testing process

4. Generate handover procedures including BOMs

To this end you should have:

1. Academic/working background in mechanical engineering with relevant experience including leadership of engineering design projects.

2. Proficient in using ProEngineer computer aided design

3 . Working knowledge of Structural Analysis using first principles and FEA packages
