Senior Project Manager - Defence - Hampshire - £55,000 - £65,000 + benefits

A leading security and technology consultancy are looking to bring in an experienced project manager to join their team in Hampshire to work on a number of projects within their system development and delivery centre of excellence.

This is a very exciting opportunity as it's not your standard project management role and requires someone with a background complex systems delivery for mission critical proejcts.

The Role:

* Manage multi-disciplined teams for highly technical system and software engineers across various locations developing, integration and gaining acceptance of complex development projects in the Maritime domain. The projects range from 'in-house' development through to procurement of solutions.

Key Skills:

* Drive and determination to achieve successful project delivery overcoming problems and issues as they arise and preferably beforehand

* Track record of successful delivery of development, build and system integration of complex projects

* Pragmatic and reasonable

* Good problem solving abilities

* Open, honest and enthusiastic team member

* Good communication and interpersonal skills

* Able to exercise good commercial judgement

* An understanding of budgeting and resource allocation

* Knowledge of engineering lifecycle

* System development or Software Development

* Reasonable technical engineering understanding
