Our client believes that the future is cloud computing. They're looking for an IT Infrastructure service specialist who can lead them on the journey to build an unbeatable operational and development capability. This will alter the way the company performs creating a more agile infrastructure.

My client is in need of someone with a deep technical understanding of data centre solutions in personalised environments. They've started to introduce a plan to simplify their infrastructure platform on AWS and bring their data centre to an end. You'll be a part of project which is being built from the ground up.

A key responsibility of this role is to manage their AWS environment. Building an eco-system which is sustainable. Delivering the full benefits of the cloud, incorporating IAAS. As well as ensuring it is suitable for developers, application specialists and support specialists.

You'll play a significant role in transferring their technology estate to the cloud. Supporting AWS on a 2nd and 3rd line basis. As a specialist you'll be expected to understand the technology, the security risks and solutions integration. This is for someone who will thrive in technically challenging situations and would like for an opportunity to develop upon their already established skills.

Key responsibilities and skills

* Provide AWS solutions to developers, application specialists and support teams.

* Be a part of change projects from an operational perspective. Allowing suitability for both current and future environments.

* Clear understanding of AWS, storage, servers, virtualisation, networks security. As well as resource utilisation and casting.

* Certified in one of the AWS associate programs - architect, developer or administrator.

* Coding experience is also desired: PowerShell, Bash, VBScript, Perl, Python, YAML, Batch etc.
