Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit a Cisco Network Specialist for an initial 6 month contract based in Edinburgh on a rate of c.£300-£350/day (inside of IR35).

Responsibilities:

* Provide 3rd level support of the organisation's Cisco network hardware and Unified Communications systems.

* Assist in hardware refresh tasks on the organisation's sites.

* Assist in implementation of VoIP on 4 sites.

* Assist in roll out of secure WiFI in the organisation's locations.

Requirements:

* Extensive Cisco networking experience in a mulit-site environment.

* Advanced networking understanding and skills, including firewalls.

* Good understanding of a primarily Windows Server based network running in a multi-site environment over Cisco hardware and MPLS networks.

* Excellent documentation skills.

* Change Management experience.

* Remain in scope and understand the time to refer or escalate.
