Our client is an award winning online company who have recently expanded into new and modern premises. With a continued view to expanding they are now looking to add to their current close nit team of developers and have opened an exciting new role.

On a day to day basis within the role the successful applicant would be expected to take responsibility for all phases of the software lifecycle as well as autonomously take ownership of solutions from inception, through to delivery and maintenance. A good focus on design and development of high quality and comprehensible code in order to support and perform general bug-fixes, enhancements and maintenance as required for continuous team based development of the website.

The initial experience required by the client for the role includes at least 4 years of hands-on working with the following:

* PHP 5.6+

* MySQL/MariaDB

* E-commerce Development

* OOP

* HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery

* Version control

Advantageous experience would include:

* AJAX

* XML, SOAP Web Services

* osCommerce Knowledge

* Bootstrap CSS Framework

* Payment Gateway experience

* Unix Admin

* SEO

* Front End/Back End solutions

Additionally, being able to communicate to a high standard, both written and verbally whilst being able to work effectively and efficiently with all teams, non-technical and technical, would be ideal.
