Spring Technology currently have an opportunity to work with a large financial service organisation based in Oxfordshire, looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to work on a 5 month contract to start in December.

The Role

Infrastructure Management and Monitoring (IMM) support for the cloud and server infrastructure following ITIL best practices to ensure that the business runs smoothly and the lights are kept on. This will involve covering a shift pattern (8am to 6pm) and being part of an out of hours on call rota (no more than 1 in 2).

Skills and experience required

* Substantial server support experience

* Active Directory, Group Policy, DFS, DHCP, DNS, NPS, CA

* Hyper-V

* Basic network operations understanding

* Experience of supporting SME customers of similar scale to client (1500 staff, 50 offices spread across UK, EU, AP and US, 3 Regional Data Centres)

* MCSE or equivalent experience

* Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability

* Strong documentation skills
