Location: Northampton NN1.

Salary: £27,000.00 - £30,000.00

Working Hours: 9am-5pm Monday - Friday

Holiday: 28 days per year (including bank holidays)

This innovative telecommunications company situated in the heart of Northampton is looking for an enthusiastic, creative and talented web designer to join their design team. The successful applicant will be part of a team responsible for the design, maintenance and development of new and existing websites using their design and technical knowledge. They should have:

- Good marketing skills that reflect in their web design

- Excellent SEO knowledge

- Great organisation skills

- Good telephone manner

- Be able to work within set time limits

They require a dynamic web designer to join their fast-paced environment where quality, ability and determination are vital ingredients to produce results. You will be able to manage multiple projects ensuring all are delivered to a high standard and on time.

You will have excellent knowledge of SEO strategies to generate new traffic and analyse the site performance. Experience in Google analytics and Google tools to produce sites to exact Google requirements for the best search results. To be able to proof read content and contribute to social media campaigns on a regular basis for promotion of designed sites.

They are an established company with lots of exciting and new projects being launched in 2019. They deploy new websites every day and they are always developing and improving existing websites to enhance their listings with new content.

Required Skills:

- Adobe Photoshop

- Adobe Dreamweaver

- Adobe Illustrator

- Microsoft Office

- Able to build sites using WordPress, alongside HTML

- Proficiency in cascading style sheets

- Proficiency in HTML & XHTML

- Desirable basic knowledge of PHP - not essential.

- Knowledge of best SEO practices & applying them to your development

- Cross browser compatibility and testing.

- Responsive website design for mobile and tablet design.

- Good at communicating and working within a team.

- Able to work to tight deadlines and use own initiative.

- To produce accurate and high-quality work

- Creating Google Analytics and Webmaster accounts

Duties:

- Development & Design of new websites

- Creation of website banners and website templates

- Maintenance and development of existing websites

- Utilizing current and existing SEO techniques onto websites

- Adding new content daily across existing websites

- Creating new social media graphics and posts

Applicants must have an existing portfolio to demonstrate their skills, ideally showing them previous website designs.
