Company and project: A leading global IT professional services company based in Dublin is recruiting for an ongoing banking project. You will join a large team of contractors with who have had their contract regularly extended. The focus of the role is on product/process testing rather than systems testing.

Day to day:

As process tester you will

* Implement tests in unity with agreed test procedures

* Work with the business to make sure of quality across all test phases

* Ensure project delivery deadlines are met

* Develop capabilities to execute test procedures on multiple banking systems

* Learn key features on specific banking products and associated processes

* Execute and adhere to test procedures

Skills/Experience:

Minimum of 1 year experience in a testing environment:

* 2.1 or higher in a related IT discipline from a college or institution

* Strong attention to detail

* Highly motivated with ability to learn new systems and processes

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desirable Experience:

* Experience performing tests and following test

* Experience in retail financial services

* Familiar with documentation of test cases

Process:

* 2 round interview - 1st round is a phone interview, 2nd round is a 2 hour long interview with a technical assessment

NOTE: To qualify for thie process tester role you must be an EU resident or have a valid STAMP 4 for visa to qualify for this role. Given the tight internal business deadline on this project, and the timescales involved in processing work card/permit applications, regrettably we will not be offering work permit sponsorship for this process tester role.
