We are looking for an Infrastructure Specialist to join our client in the manufacturing industry (Eindhoven) who will be responsible for the design and implementation of the IT infrastructure. Duration: 1 year + extensions. This role involves writing designs, implementing, testing, and delivering high quality infrastructure solutions. This is done in close co-operation with the development team, customers, and project manager. The infrastructure is based on Linux, Windows and Solaris, mainly configured and managed using puppet.

Must:

* Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and higher versions.

* Experience with developing a complex puppet code base (min. 1 year Puppet experience)

* Scripting languages: Perl, Ruby and different Shell languages e.g. ksh, tcsh, sh, bash

* Strong documenting capabilities (technical designs and runbooks)

* Well acquainted with software development

* Experience in large technical complex environments.

* Good command of English

* Bachelor or Master in Computer Science (or related field)
