Test Analyst - £24k - £30k + Excellent Benefits

Looking for a new opportunity as a Test Analyst? Our client, a well-known retail company based Near Livingstone, is looking for a talented Test Analyst, who will be responsible for ensuring quality standards are maintained by creation, maintenance and execution of test plans against the companies software.

Skills / Environment

Firm Knowledge of Testing Standards

Experience of automated test techniques and products (e.g. Selenium, QTP)

Ability to write SQL / knowledge of at least one programming language

Familiarity with SDLC

Understanding of Source Control concepts with exposure to at least one Source Control tool

Competent in MS Office suite

Role Overview

*Produce all required test documentation to company standards

*Produce test specification documentation for all phases of the test life cycle, including test plans, test conditions, test cases, test data, test scripts, summary reports. This could include writing automated scripts for performance or regression testing

*Execute test scripts recording evidence of actual results and validating against expected results. This could include executing automated test scripts

*Where actual results differ from expected, perform defect analysis and record results clearly on defect tracking tool

*Execute regression testing scripts as required. Update regression scripts at completion of testing phase to reflect changes to the application

*Communicate results and progress clearly to the Senior Test Analyst and other IT and Business staff as required throughout testing life-cycle

*Participate in process improvement activities

Salary: £24k - £30k
