Sales Executive

Birmingham

Basic salary is £18,000 - £24,000 with an OTE of £50k. OTE is currently being achieved in the office at present.

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Executive to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front line of sales for the company and will have the dedication to help apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth

through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

The responsibilities of the role include:

- Identify opportunities, produce leads and book appointments with the emphasis on high quality leads

- Drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients

- Develop creative pitches and propositions aimed at specific industry sectors

- Proactively follow up leads generated from our business contact data generation activity

- Use of initiative to identify and follow up opportunities with companies who are not already on the database

- Arrange and attend business meetings with prospective customers

- Manage the database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure targeted marketing activity can take place

- Work closely with the team to achieve sales objectives

- Negotiate commercial terms within set guidelines

- Provide new customers with ongoing customer support, aftercare and account management

- Liase effectively with all departments to ensure customer requirements are met

- Contribute to the team performance by sharing and implementing Best Practise Ideas

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

- Computer literate/keyboard skills

- At least 1-2 years working within a sales environment preferably in a proactive telemarketing role within the telecoms (or related) industry

- Excellent telephone skills

- Demonstrated ability to prioritise issues Intellectual Demands

- Must have a university education

- Must be able to deal with technical product information

- Ability to adapt procedures to a new and more effective way of working (in relation primarily to database management)

- Ability to build strong working relationships (internal/external)

- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written

- Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels within and outside the organisation Disposition/Personality
