We currently require the services of a SQL Development DBA to work for a well respected client based in Manchester.Essential Experience and Skills required:
- Excellent TSQL
- Good knowledge of the SQL Database Engine
- Performance tuning skills (experience of Query Tuning, Indexing, Locking)
- Extensive commercial experience of working with Microsoft SQL.
- Exposure to replication, SSIS and SQL Reporting Services.
Key Responsibilities:
This role requires SQL Development and DBA skills to deliver performant database systems in a highly transactional environment. You will possess extensive commercial experience of large transactional databases (100GB+) with a proven background of working in a technically challenging, fast paced environment.
You will have the ability to show initiative in gathering requirements and proficiency in developing complex database solutions from informal specifications.
