Mid-Level AWS Big Data Engineer - London - Cross Training Opportunity

AWS Big Data Greenfield Site in London is looking to take on an AWS Big Data Engineers proficient in core AWS based products, with the opportunity to learn more Big Data tools. This emerging business is perfect for a chance to reshape the automation industry and take your Big Data skills to the next level. Their main project tracks car performance and drives, and has just started being sold across AT&T stores across the whole of the US.

Role

* Review and design architecture: Both mid-level and detailed designs

* Assisting the full life cycle of the implementation from design to delivery

* Listen and support team on tactical and strategic operational improvements to enhance operational capabilities

* Identifying necessary improvements in the AWS architecture to align with the AWS best practices

* Involvement in Big Data implementation of AWS Stack

* Be the central point for knowledge (AWS. Big Data) sharing across the team

* AWS / Cloud Advocate - promoting the success across the business

Requirements

* Experience using AWS: EC2, Cloudwatch, S3, ELK

* Experience using some Big Data tools: Cassandra, Kafka, Hadoop and Python

An opportunity to work remotely and onsite in Central London, with easy access to transport links and a range of shopping outlets. This tech start-up is looking to take on candidates ASAP.
