Position: Recruiter - Legal background

Location: Spalding, Lincolnshire

Salary: £23,000 - £30,000 per annum

Key Responsibility:

We are looking for someone who:

Has previous experience of working as a recruiter either in-house or in a Legal recruitment agency or someone who has experience in niche, challenging professional services environment.

Can demonstrate via the candidate selection process, the ability to build solid working relationships with agents that will be to the benefit of Client, measurable by the successful recruitment of lawyers and support staff who in turn demonstrate an understanding of and ability to drive Client successful ethos forward.

The ability to represent Client in a professional setting and deal with any challenges that may occur.

The ability to work with the Human Resources team, Marketing and recruiting managers to develop new and successful strategies that attract applicants of the right quality and standing to Client.

An individual who can drive many recruitment streams, understanding the strategies behind different approaches, across all locations.

Would manage the early careers program of the bursary scheme, apprenticeship schemes and Training contract routes.

Day to day responsibilities:

Organise the recruitment process for new staff including:

Preparing the authorisation form to recruit, including a business case and accurate and effective job descriptions.

Meeting with internal stakeholders to discuss the role and the candidate specifications, including the recruitment strategy.

Advertising, the selection of candidates to interview by liaising with the recruiting managers within Client, organising interviews and any relevant testing that may be required,

Notification of interview outcomes including the drawing up of contracts and organizing new staff induction days.

Monitor their Inbox, Recruitment Inbox and Trainee Recruitment Inbox to ensure that all enquiries are dealt with promptly and followed up to ensure that every possible recruitment opportunity is utilized.

Gain a full understanding of all the Human Resources functions such as to be able to assist on occasions of holiday or sick leave.
