Developer (C#.NET) Stroud

C# /Developer / Stroud /£45K /20 percent pension

My client based near Stroud are looking to hire a developer to join their team. This role is working as part of the digital team and will see you working as part of a nationwide development team.

In this role you will to support the organisation in their ambitious IT strategy with commercial experience in developing web applications in C#, Web API's, .NET Core. The organisation works to best practice agile methodology. The organisation has also implemented automation and devops best practice.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in development within a Microsoft Environment and will see you developing public facing software solutions.

Core Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

*Assist client with definition of requirements to meet business objectives

*Produce technical specifications and/or proposals including Identifying the most efficient approach using solutions such as SQL Server Reporting Services

*Design, code and test new features or changes and achieve integration with third-party systems through configuration or programming

*Design code and test to achieve custom behaviour of solution and documentation.

*Take part in code and design reviews of own and other team members' work

*Track down and fix bugs reported in released software as and when required.*

Experience:

*Honours degree (2.2 or higher) together with excellent A levels

*Previous work experience in software as developer and be capable of assimilating in-depth technical knowledge

*Experience of working in an agile team and a strong interest in IT and in the application of computers to solve business problems

*C# coding and debugging / HTML, CSS and client side JavaScript

*SQL Server, SQL statements (T-SQL) and SQL reporting (SSRS)

*XML / XSLT / Visual Studio 2012 / 2015 / TFS

*WCF & Web services inc. JSON and Restful
