To provide support to the Company Secretary, Executive Team and Board of Directors to ensure Company meet its statutory and regulatory obligations. Promote the development of a strong governance culture in respect of our role as Registered Social Landlord and registered Charity.

To perform a variety of company secretarial administrative tasks to support the Company Secretary in carrying out company secretarial functions.

To take the lead for data protection matters and champion compliance across the organisation.

try to meet the changing needs of our customers and to adapt to the ever-changing external environment. This role will report into the Head of HR and Governance and work very closely with the Chief Executive and Company Secretary.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to executive teams and committees. There is scope to develop in a structured, progressive work environment whilst maintaining a good work-life balance. You will have responsibility for the drafting of board minutes and other governance documents.

To be successful, you will have had some relevant company secretarial experience or worked as PA to Director/Senior Manager, have good organisational and administrative skills and have the ability to master new software. The successful candidate must possess strong technical governance expertise and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Although knowledge of the social housing sector would be desirable, transferable skills from other sectors will be considered.

Do you have?

Experience in providing company secretarial support/PA to Director, with strong minuting skills

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work unsupervised.

A passion for Good Governance

Exemplary customer service skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Experience of drafting Board reports and dealing with stakeholders.

The ability to balance competing priorities and deliver results to tight deadlines.

Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain good working relationships and work flexibly
