Perl Developer / Software Engineer (MySQL Amazon Aurora DB). Want to join a fun, technology driven company, introduce the latest technologies and make a real impact; whilst continually learning and improving?

eCommerce household name is seeking a bright, ambitious Perl Developer / Software Engineer; joining a small team you will focus on backend web development, integration with a 3rd party provider that take care of logins / authentications and new feature development to add functionality, mainly on the basket and eCommerce offerings. You'll be working within an Agile development environment with two week Sprints and TDD.

You'll be based in amazing new offices in a vibrant area of Central London; there's regular socials; a range of learning and development support plus a generous benefits package.

Requirements:

*Solid commercial Perl development experience

*Passion for clean code, code testability, readability and good coding practices

*Aptitude and desire to learn and progress

*Collaborative with strong communication skills

*Nice to haves: experience with cloud computing, other software development languages, CI/CD, Jenkins
