Job Title: Network & IT Support Engineer

Location: Chichester, West Sussex

Salary: £18,000 - £25,000 per year

Job type: Permanent, Full time (40 hours a week)

The Company is a friendly, people centred Business to Business IT support consultancy based in Chichester, West Sussex and have been supporting local businesses since 2002.

They are experiencing growth in key technologies including VoIP Telephony, Data Security and Protection. They are also GDPR Practitioners and provide advice and support in managing personal data.

They have recently partnered with Solar Winds N-Central so that they can provide security based services to protect, backup valuable data and to monitor their clients' network infrastructures. They have also just partnered with SonicWall and are wanting to promote the next generation firewalls to further complement their data security and protection theme.

The Role:

Since this is a relatively small but growing company your role is going to be very diverse and broad in terms of your day to day activities, so you won't need to worry about getting bored. You'll also need a flexible approach and the willingness to get stuck in to all aspects of the service as and when needed. But don't just think you'll be stuck behind a support desk all day, you'll also get to head out to client sites to provide support as well as to discuss their future needs while promoting all of the company's services, ensuring they provide the best and most complete package to all clients.

The Candidate:

Due to the fluid nature of the role it's hard to say exactly what skills and experience you need but ideally you'll have a minimum of 3 years support experience with good all round skills in Server 2012/2016 and legacy SBS 2008/2011. Active Directory, Exchange Server, RDP, VPN, an understanding of Hypervisors and Virtual Server technology such as Hyper-V and VM-ware, Networking TCP/IP, VLAN, Wireless Networks, Windows 7 & 10 Professional in domain environments, Hosted Exchange, Office 365 and on premise and hosted backup.

It would also be advantageous if you had some experience or knowledge of the following:

* Web Hosting and DNS & MX management
* Cloudflare
* Ubiquiti UniFi managed switches
* EdgeRouters and UniFi Access Points
* Synology NAS
* Solarwinds - N Central Monitoring and backup


* 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
* Must have own car and a clean driving licence
