Fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking IT service provider delivering IT service management and IT infrastructure services to the healthcare sector.
Role
The Cyber Security & Assurance Manager operates within the Business Support & Assurance team and reports into the Chief Operations Officer.
You will be working with members of the Business Support & Assurance Team and external customers to ensure the design, delivery and provision of world class Technology Services.
Requirements
The Cyber Security & Assurance Manager will ideally have worked for an outsourced partnership or managed service provider (MSP) and will possess strong Information Technology security experience, knowledgeable of technical and cyber security issues and associated disciplines, with a strong understanding of IT systems and their application within the healthcare environment.
Useful accreditations: CISSP, Freedom of Information (Practitioner), CGEIT - Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT
Duties
The Cyber Security & Assurance Manager will provide leadership (define, develop, monitor, maintain, manage) on the following:
----Technical Security Strategy
----Disaster Recovery strategy
----Business Continuity strategy
Define, implement, monitor and audit, maintain, manage and control necessary policies, standards, guidelines and associated management products relating to the above-mentioned strategies
Provide clear and focussed advice on all matters relating to security architecture and in line with industry best practice.
Be the subject matter expert in relation to technical security, cyber security, disaster recovery and business continuity planning and improvement plans.
Line manage staff, coaching and supporting staff at all
Resolve high-level issues relating to technical security risks, issues, threats and responses
Ensure the technical protection and security of data and technology assets
Assure that disaster recovery processes for core infrastructure services and systems are available, workable and can delivered within agreed timeframe(s)
Provide consultancy, training, education, information and support on specific technical related subjects to aid user understanding
Engage with Business Support & Assurance Office Team, all functions within the client, customers at all levels, external systems suppliers, other managed service suppliers, internal and external technical experts and advisers.
