Supply Chain Solution Delivery Manager

Up to £70,000 + Car + Bonus

Working for a global Food & Beverage company who's products are recognised by all worldwide, the successful candidate will have the opportunity's to work as the IS Solutions Delivery Manager - Supply chain.

Key focus of this role is to ensure IS investment meets the strategic priorities of the business. To ensure that the IS programme has been defined and prioritised, within Supply Chain, and business expectations are managed. To control the delivery of IS services, application development and support, from both internal & third-party service providers. To effectively manage the relationships between the business, IS and other third-party suppliers to drive continued improvement and use companies application portfolio. To influence the business to ensure technology is seen as an enabler and a driver of change.

Key accountabilities & deliverables

*The Supply Chain Solutions Delivery Manager role is accountable for the application lifecycle management of Supply Chain systems from procurement, implementation to retirement. Including governance of full lifecycle costs.

*Ensure that solutions meet corporate objectives, fulfil end-user requirements, and identify and resolve business requirements issues.

*Assist in the creation of long-term strategic goals for achieving and maintaining high data quality in conjunction with business systems users, department managers, clients, and other key stakeholders.

*Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated plans for IS business solutions and appropriate use.

*Understand escalation paths and stakeholder engagement; have the ability operate in a multi-threaded development environment

*Analyses the risks and future impact of decisions

*Analyse documentation and technical specifications of any functional business application under consideration to determine its intended functionality.

*Collaborate with analysts, developers, and process owners in the testing of new solutions.

*Work with Procurement to negotiate contracts and liaise with supplier for prompt rectification of any problems or emergencies.

*Governance supplier relationships and establish service level agreements with business systems-users and provide on-call technical support for these users.

*Investigate and fix fields that have become outdated due to new business/value rules, new processes.

*Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements, patches, upgrades, and/or purchases.

*Management of the business solutions analysts including hiring, mentoring, disciplinary action, performance reviews, termination, and scheduling.

What we're looking for - Skills and Experience

*Minimum 5-10+ years experiencing working within a Supply Chain role covering core process functions including Procurement, Manufacturing & Logistics

*Ability to manage IT Suppliers / Consultant relationships

*Detailed ERP systems knowledge especially SAP and ideally JD Edwards, is a key attribute for this role

*Good knowledge of associate Supply Chain systems including S&OP, Procurement P2P, Shop-floor/Manufacturing Execution Systems, Quality Management and Plant Maintenance systems

*Degree level qualification or technology-related field or 10 years equivalent work experience

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate governance, process/standards controls and performance-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

*Poise and ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure, high-stress situations.

*Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified.

*High level of personal integrity, as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters, and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity.

*High degree of initiative, dependability and ability to work with little supervision.

*Adopt an analytical approach to problem solving, with a focus on managing tasks with appropriate urgency in a results-oriented team environment

*Manage multiple complex programs and initiatives across organizational boundaries

*Make decisions efficiently that add value and are achieved in what can be tight time frames

*Strong English language skills (written/oral)
